When life feels overwhelming, knowing where to begin can be difficult. My role is to help you find that starting point by offering a safe, supportive space to talk openly about what’s troubling you, so that you feel understood.
Together, we’ll explore how your experiences have shaped your view of yourself and affected you, your relationships and the quality of your life. We will develop an approach that helps you move toward your goals – that is collaborative and draws on evidence-based techniques to help you express your needs, build self-acceptance, develop healthier relationships and achieve the goals you want.
Whether you’re facing anxiety, relationship struggles or a life transition, you don’t have to face it alone.
We can meet in person at my La Quinta office or meet online anywhere in California, using telemedicine, from the comfort of your own home, car or at work.
Sessions usually take place weekly to support steady progress. More frequent sessions may be helpful during difficult periods, depending on your needs.
Psychotherapy is a process that helps you change long-held beliefs and fears that you may not even be aware of, that have restricted your growth and happiness. I encourage allowing at least 12 sessions to give the process time to begin, to explore what is troubling you, and notice how you are changing.. Change is not always on a “straight line upwards.” There can be immediate insights and improvement followed by slower, deeper changes that improve the value of your life.
